AFGRI team raise big for this year’s Movember Challenge

AFGRI Equipment would like to congratulate those who took part in this year’s Movember Challenge after another exceptional fundraising effort. Movember is the hairiest month of the year where participants grow a moustache for the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues including prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men’s suicide. After another great month of fundraising, the AFGRI team raised an outstanding final total of $9050 to support this great cause. After 5 years of running the challenge, this is the highest total raised since our first year back in 2017. AFGRI marketing & communications specialist Timothy Roberts said the team had really outdone themselves this year and should feel very proud of their efforts. “I would like to say a massive thank you to all the growers, staff and customers who supported our Movember Challenge for 2021,” Timothy said. “A big well done to the team for smashing our target, it’s an awesome achievement and credit to all involved.” A special mention to AFGRI Narembeen’s Matt Dickinson who helped raise over $5000 towards the team’s effort. Matt took out the individual award for Most Money Raised whilst other individual awards for Best Moustache went to AFGRI Narrogin’s Dillon James and Most Creative Moustache to AFGRI Carnamah’s Alan Kidd.
