X9 the standout at new-look Mingenew Midwest Expo

AFGRI Equipment were pleased to attend this year’s Mingenew Midwest Expo, with this year delivering something different from previous shows.

The 39th expo switched from the usual Wednesday/Thursday format to a more condensed one-day Friday event, focusing on agriculture and machinery. AFGRI Equipment – Carnamah branch manager Wayne Barry said the new-look expo format presented something different for those in the local area. “We were glad to attend this year’s expo and show our support to the expo, the committee, and the local farming community,” Wayne said. “The expo is a highlight on our calendar – it’s excellent to see the amazing support it continues to receive. “Always when you mix things up, it provides something a bit different to the norm and I think it was a very rewarding event for those who attended. “Congratulations and well done to the expo committee and staff for putting everything together.” In line with the new format, AFGRI were pleased to showcase our standout new harvesting solution, the John Deere X9 1100 combine, kindly provided to display by Rod & Tania Cosgrove, paired with a John Deere HD50R flex draper platform. This was the first field day the X9 had been displayed at, with the impressive machine unfortunately unavailable for last year’s show season. The combine received a lot of interest throughout the event, with many coming to discuss and find out how the increased capacity, power and technology the machine offers can help increase productivity and take crop off quicker. Early orders for John Deere combine harvesters, for both the X-Series and S-Series ranges, are still open.
