We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Truck Driver / Yard Person to join our Gnowangerup Team. This position involves supporting the Branch in the preparation of machinery pre-delivery, with truck driving duties, and general maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Transport machinery/equipment to and from customers, or between dealer facilities
• Ensure the daily completion of the driver’s logbook and service reports when required 
• Maintains pickup and delivery records by obtaining necessary signatures and receipts
• Complete pre-start checklists
• Coordinate truck and trailing maintenance and organise servicing when required
• Maintain all necessary certifications in line with DOT and OSHA 
• Load and unload machines for transport
• Liaise with freight providers as needed 
• Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedures
• General cleaning and housekeeping duties as required
• Detail and touch up machinery and equipment in line with pre-delivery requirements 
  
  

Skills and Experience:

• Clean MC WA driving license preferred 
• Forklift license
• Escort pilot license preferred 
• Knowledge of Road Traffic Act
• Able to operate a 2 way radio
• Knowledge of slings and securing loads
• Able to pass a Commercial Drivers Medical and D7A Screen
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
