AFGRI Head Office, based in South Guildford, is seeking a motivated individual with a passion for Precision Agriculture to join our Precision Ag Team as a Trainee Consultant and develop their career in this exciting field. 

In this role, you will be responsible for providing advice on the use and management of precision ag technology to support customers in optimising agricultural production.

Key Responsibilities

• Support customers in the use and adoption of precision ag technology
• Support customers in the analysis of precision ag data
• Implement AFGRI’s precision ag strategy
• Contribute to customer training events in precision ag systems
• Represent AFGRI at field days
  
  

Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Ag Science
• Some experience with broadacre cropping
• Ability to operate with a solutions approach and identify customer needs
• Ability to think strategically
• Solid organisational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel to customers
