How to Set Up Your Sprayer
Before you start spraying, use the Work Setup app on your sprayer to configure settings such as your field location, sprayer details, vehicle details, weather conditions, crop type, and more. This video walks you through setting up and initial configuration of your sprayer on the Gen 4 Command Centre™ display.
How to Set Up ExactApply™
The ExactApply™ nozzle control system enables precise droplet and rate control across your entire boom, resulting in 3 to 5% savings¹ in chemical usage. Individual nozzle control and Turn Compensation enable the rate to be adjusted across the boom while turning, eliminating over-application, crop burn, and off-target application along field boundaries. With in-cab controls, you can monitor and fine-tune your target pressure over a wider range of speeds, ensuring you are achieving the desired droplet size and product rate. How to Set Up and Adjust See & Spray™
See & Spray Select uses advanced camera technology and the ExactApply nozzle control system to spray only weeds on fallow ground or standing stubble. This results in less herbicide applied per hectare and allows the use of more effective tank mixes to control herbicide-resistant weeds. This series of videos runs you through the process of setting up the See & Spray system on your Gen 4 display, and how to adjust the various sensitivity, coverage, fallback, and diagnostic settings. Connecting Your Sprayer with JDLink™and Sharing Data
Equipment in the John Deere Operations Center™ web is your tool to manage the JDLink™ connection to your machines. This connection provides simple, seamless, and continuous sharing of machine and agronomic data, fully linking you to your equipment and personnel.
Data Sync on Generation 4 displays enables automatic transfer of agronomic and machine data from your machine to your Operations Centre account. For machines equipped with a 4G modem, machine location data is updated every 5 seconds, and agronomic data every 30 seconds.
