Western Australian agriculture is built on generations of hard work, resilience and innovation. Behind every farm is a story – of families, people and communities who continue to shape one of our state’s most important industries.
As Farm Weekly celebrates Western Australian farmers and their contribution to our state, AFGRI Equipment is proud to join in that recognition and reflect on our own story – one that has always been closely connected to agriculture and the people behind it.
More than 100 years alongside agriculture
AFGRI’s story began more than 100 years ago in South Africa, with its roots firmly in agriculture and supporting farming communities. Over the decades, AFGRI has grown and evolved alongside the agricultural industry, building a legacy of supporting the people and businesses that help agriculture thrive.
Here in Western Australia, AFGRI Equipment continues that connection to agriculture. Today, our over 530 people bring together more than 23 centuries of combined experience, supporting farmers, contractors and local businesses across the state.
From the workshop to the paddock, the parts counter to precision technology, and our branch teams across regional WA, our people work alongside customers every day. While machinery and technology continue to evolve, we know that great service is still built on knowledge, relationships and local understanding.
Our Century Makers
Our Century Makers story celebrates that collective experience.
It’s a story about our heritage, but more importantly, it’s about our people and the generations of knowledge, experience and relationships they bring to WA agriculture every day.
Every one of our people contributes to that story – whether they have been part of AFGRI Equipment for decades or are just beginning their career with us. Together, they represent a business that continues to invest in its people, skills, services and facilities to support the future of agriculture in Western Australia.
We also know our story would not exist without our customers.
It is Western Australian farmers who continue to drive our industry forward, embrace new ideas and technology, support local businesses and contribute so much to the regional communities in which we live and work.
As we reflect on more than 100 years of AFGRI’s agricultural heritage, we’re also looking ahead – continuing to grow alongside our customers and investing in the people and communities that will shape the next generation of Western Australian agriculture.
To WA’s farmers, families and agricultural communities – thank you for the trust you place in our people and for allowing us to grow alongside you.
Together, we’re proud to help grow the communities we call home.
