Esperance host fantastic ‘triple-header’ in lead up to harvest

AFGRI Equipment have had the pleasure of hosting a series of header schools across our dealer network in Western Australia. The schools are to help operators get the most out of their machinery and the technology available to them for harvest. One of the biggest header schools AFGRI held this year was Esperance’s Know Your Combine Header School, held at the Esperance Bay Turf Club on October 8. The school hosted customers from Esperance and the Great Southern region with around 120 people attending over the course of the day. The school held three sessions concentrating on setup and optimisation, maintenance, and technology. Held at the same time, the branch also hosted the Ladies of the Land tour, a day devoted to celebrating women in Ag and the influential roles they play on farm. The event had around 90 ladies attend and featured a fantastic long table lunch with live music. AFGRI Equipment - Esperance service clerk Farrin Parker, one of the event’s main organisers, said the day received a lot of positive feedback. “It was an incredible day for the branch as a whole,” Farrin said. “We had great food, great company and the weather was perfect for our outdoor setting – all together it made for an excellent event celebrating our local women in Ag.” The day was a ‘triple-header’ for the Esperance branch with a Blessing of the Harvest held in the evening to ring in the harvest season. The event featured a host of different activities including a live band and lots to do for the kids. AFGRI Equipment – Esperance branch manager Brad Forrester said the event had more than 200 attend from the local area. “It’s all about being part of and growing with the local community,” Brad said. “The blessing brings everyone together before everything gets busy with harvest. “Thanks to everyone who came, we were very glad to host you.” With many already started, AFGRI Equipment would like to wish everyone well for harvest 2021.
