Geraldton celebrate big win at AFGRI’s night of nights

AFGRI Equipment had the great pleasure of hosting our staff at the AFGRI Awards Night 2022 last month. Held on July 9 at Perth’s Optus Stadium with over 170 guests attending, the annual event is an opportunity to celebrate our top achievers and thank our employees for their efforts over the previous 12 months.

AFGRI general manager – sales & marketing Jacques Coetzee, who was also MC for the evening, said it is always an honour to host our employees. “AFGRI Equipment isn’t the buildings and facilities, it is the people,” Jacques said. “The awards night is our opportunity to celebrate all the hard work they put in helping support our customers.” The evening’s most coveted award, Branch of the Year was awarded to AFGRI Equipment – Geraldton, an award the branch also won in 2021. The award was accepted by AFGRI Equipment – Geraldton branch manager Graeme Henderson. “It’s a great honour for our branch to have won the award again this year,” Graeme said. “We take a lot of pride in making sure we can offer a great experience and high level of service to our customers. “The early mornings and late nights really do make a difference, and I’m proud of how our team continues to excel.” Large Ag Salesperson of the Year was awarded to AFGRI Equipment – Carnamah’s Fin Brown, Mid Ag & Small Ag Salesperson of the Year went to AFGRI Equipment – Geraldton’s Derek Thill and Used Equipment Salesperson of the Year was awarded to AFGRI Equipment – Narembeen’s Matthew Dickinson. In service, Workshop of the Year went to AFGRI Equipment – Carnamah, collected by service manager Christian van Zyl whilst Technician of the Year went to AFGRI Equipment – Narembeen’s Daniel de Gouveia, with AFGRI Equipment – Northam’s Michael Currell and Declan Bell placing second and third respectively. In parts, Parts Department of the Year went to AFGRI Equipment – Geraldton, collected by parts manager Matt Partington whilst Parts Sales Representative of the Year was awarded to AFGRI Equipment – Esperance’s Malcolm James. AFGRI operations director Gollie Coetzee said the awards night plays a positive role in enhancing our company culture across the group. “It is very important to thank all our staff for the exceptional job they have done over the past 12 months,” Gollie said. “Our staff are our company and it is them who continue to deliver high levels of service excellence.” AFGRI Equipment would like to congratulate the night’s winners and thank all who attended the evening.
