Well-deserved recognition for Farm Weekly’s Ken

AFGRI Equipment would like to wish a fond farewell but most certainly, not goodbye to Farm Weekly’s senior journalist Ken Wilson who retires this month. After 42 years, Ken will be officially hanging up his boots for Farm Weekly towards the end of November, on route for a well-deserved retirement. AFGRI Equipment operations director Gollie Coetzee said it had been a pleasure working with Ken over the years. “Ken has worked with us for a long time, leading to great relationships with many within our organisation,” Gollie said. “Over this time, it is very clear what a fantastic person he is and the passion and enthusiasm he has for his role and the agricultural industry as a whole. “We wish him well in the future and congratulate him on his years of service to WA agriculture.” AFGRI Equipment marketing coordinator Timothy Roberts said he had fond memories working with Ken. “Ken has worked closely with our marketing team over the years and we greatly appreciate his valuable input and expertise,” Tim said. “On a personal note, I’ve really enjoyed his banter as well as the genuine passion he displays for what he does. “It has been a pleasure to work with Ken, he is definitely leaving behind big shoes to fill.” Ken said he is looking forward to travelling around more of the country and popping into our dealerships along the way to say g’day. Congratulations to Ken on a fantastic career, I’m sure our journey together is far from over yet.
