SmartGrade integration a new innovation for Deere CCE

John Deere has equipped the 333G compact track loader with SmartGradeTM technology in efforts to expand the capabilities of the machine for operators. This integration is the first time SmartGradeTM - John Deere’s proprietary grade control technology – has been available on Deere’s range of compact construction equipment and will enable operators to take on new tasks and larger jobs which require more accuracy. The technology works by automatically helping operators complete grading tasks with fewer passes and less reworking when compared to working without grade control technology. It also makes the 333G more versatile than even before enabling it to deliver precision grading performance while eliminating vulnerable masts and cables, in relation to its compact size. John Deere construction and forestry solutions marketing manager Luke Gribble said concentrating on innovation to improve equipment is one of Deere’s top focuses. “By adding SmartGradeTM technology into the 333G compact track loader, we are providing our customers with the industry’s first-ever machine fully integrated with grade control technology, helping them do more with less on the job,” Gribble said. John Deere have also added another innovation, DozerMode, to the John Deere 333G. DozerMode is a highly effective control solution which enables the EH joystick control system to function like a crawler dozer with the push of a button. It includes a six-way dozer blade attachment which can both cut a grade and spread materials, leading to shorter setup time and increased functionality for operators. In particular, this is useful in helping to cut or finish light materials in tight spaces. The blade also does not require any tools to change between other attachments.
